Continuing Education Information (Credit information as of 2/11/14)
AATH members (as well as non-member attendees at an AATH Annual conference) represent a cross-section of occupations in healthcare, education, and sole practitioner businessmen and women. In AATH, you will find nurses and physicians, psychologists, social workers, researchers, therapists, hospital caring clowns, clergy, educators, administrators, human resource personnel, as well as expert speakers and authors who have literally “written the book” on our emerging field of Therapeutic Humor and Laughter. Some of our members practice and provide “healthy humor” and laughter, some teach it, while others are in search of it as they heal and/or cope, either physically or emotionally, from some sort of “hurt.” Some share “healthy humor” and laughter professionally with patients, clients and colleagues. Some of our members apply it in their personal lives in their homes and in their communities. However, all AATH members and conference attendees are genuinely interested in learning more about the positive power of “healthy humor” and laughter.
