The AATH Humor Academy is a fun and flexible, multi-option curriculum designed to deepen your understanding and practice of therapeutic humor & laughter. Earn a Humor Academy Certificate and/or 3 hours graduate college credit through Portland State University.

 Dr. Willibald Ruch — Professor of Psychology at University of Zurich,alt Switzerland, researches the psychology of humor including comedy, amusement, laughter, nonsense, wit, and smiling.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
2012 AATH Conference will provide continuing education credit. Applications for the following areas have been submitted:
NURSES: IAHB is an Approved Provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the Utah Nurses Association, an accredited Approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. (UNA = 26.0 CEHs. Provider Code P09-03.) Satisfactory completion Participants must complete an attendance/evaluation form in order to receive a certificate of completion/attendance. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available.
CA Nurses: Amedco is approved by the CA Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP13683, for 26 contact hours.
SOCIAL WORKERS: (covers 45 states): This course has been submitted for review to NASW in Washington, DC.
CA SOCIAL WORKERS: California Board of Behavioral Sciences (CABBS) This course has been submitted for review.
CPDU credits for Illinois Teachers
Earn 15 hours of continuing during the general conference and an additional 3 credits by enrolling in the Humor Academy.
