Elaine Boltz, Account Executive for Employee Assistance Services at Life Management Associates, is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She is certified as a Critical Incident Stress Debriefer through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and serves of the LMA Crisis Team. In addition to her work in the EAP field, Elaine presents various workshops and trainings on the value of humor both personally and in the workplace. A Certified Laughter Leader through the World Laughter Tour, Elaine also conducts Laughter Clubs.
Elaine believes that humor should be an important part of everyone’s life and shares many examples from her own life where humor played a role in her bouncing back from difficult times. Through interactive workshops and presentations many corporations, health care organizations, retirement communities and civic organizations learn how to increase their humor skills, use appropriate humor in the workplace, and change their perceptions through the use of humor.
Elaine understands that the use of humor does not diminish the seriousness of one’s problems, but is an effective resource for building resiliency and helping one cope with difficulties that come their way.
