Biography:

Dave Lieber, a humorist and storyteller, works as The Watchdog columnist for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He is a member of the National Speakers Association.

Audiences consistently rate him at conferences where he speaks as one of their favorite speakers. With more than three decades as a newspaperman, Dave has a unique ability to combine real-world experiences with outstanding storytelling skills to move your audience to emotional peaks they won’t forget.

His specialty is to customize his talk to match the needs of your conference. What do you want your audiences to know? How do you hope to help them grow? And how can you do this with loads of fun?

Dave is the winner of the coveted Katie Award from the Dallas Press Club as the Best Columnist in the U.S. Southwest.

He has a strong background as a volunteer. He is co-founder of one of North Texas' largest children's charities, Summer Santa, which serves thousands of children each year through a volunteer service that has no office or paid staff.

His work for Summer Santa earned him the Will Rogers Humanitarian Award. This honor goes to the U.S. newspaper columnist whose work produced positive effects on the lives of readers.
