Biography:
Since 1996, Pam Palis-Kalisz, risk-taker, entertRainer and Queen of Mirth, has given over 600 workshops AROUND the world. SPARCS! which is the acronym for Stimulate Positive Attitude by Renewing our Comic Spirit, seeks to bring humor, laughter and play to business, school, community group, library, healthcare and retirement environments. In Workshops for Survival, participants, including those suffering from Terminal Seriousness, learn positive ways to increase INJOYment of who they are and how they respond to the realities of everyday life. Her workshops are based on years of research, application via her numerous training positions and life experience. All workshops are custom-designed for the participants. Whether her program is geared toward reminiscing and laughter for those in their golden years, teaching and reinforcing customer service skills, helping schools bring kindness and caring into their curriculum or teaching locals in Taipei, Taiwan, to use forgiveness in their workplace, thousands of people have had their amuse systems strengthened in her workshops.

Pam Palis-Kalisz grew up in a positive, humor-laden environment. She attended the University of Illinois and Illinois State, where she earned her B.S. in Education and Communication. As a secondary education teacher, she created many opportunities to incorporate humor, laughter and play into her classroom. Since 1978, she has used humor and magic to build customer service skills, support program development and enhance training at United Airlines. One of her many roles at United, was participating in the training of 50,000 airline employees while presenting Customer Problem Resolution solving customer problems from the heart. Pam has been a Board Member for AATH since 2001.
