What is International Humor Month?
International Humor Month is a month-long April celebration of the power of humor to connect, heal, and inspire. Originally established by Larry Wilde and expanded by Steve Wilson, it is now produced by the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH) with the mission of spreading the word about humor, spotlighting the people who use it to make the world better, and helping everyone build their skill of humor.

Andrew Tarvin, Director of International Humor Month
Andrew, the world’s first Humor Engineer, is a speaker, author, and consultant who helps individuals and organizations use humor to be more effective and enjoyable. As the CEO of Humor That Works, he has worked with thousands of people at over 500 organizations, including Fortune 500 companies like IBM, P&G, and Microsoft.
Now, he’s bringing that expertise and energy to International Humor Month, leading the charge alongside a dedicated committee of humor enthusiasts.
