The Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH) is the recognized authority and the primary membership organization for people with a common interest in applied humor and laughter. Its mission is to elevate and nourish the human spirit through the intentional use of humor and laughter. AATH serves as a community of professionals studying, practicing, and promoting healthy humor.
We encourage and recommend, but do not require, that all those who submit abstracts attend the 2025 conference (May 1- 4) in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA) to exchange ideas, answer questions, and create new connections.
Conference registration (Full conference or Single-day) is the researcher's responsibility. Selected applicants must present in person at the Research Session or a poster session during the conference.
